Three Pillars of Health: How to Live Long and Strong

Maintaining your immune system is the main path to a healthy body and wellness. But where to start? Nutritionists have the answer to this question.

On February 2, 2021, there was arranged a meeting for MTWTU-registered seafarers with a family doctor and nutritionist.

Held at the Maritime Union Center, the meeting was dedicated to ‘Health in general and ways to sustain it’.

“There are four main factors that reasonably determine the state of health: lifestyle and living conditions (55-60%), ecological situation (20-25%), heredity (15-20%) and the level of medical care (7-15%). In addition, we discussed how to figure out the reasons for stress and ways to address it and why the individual approach of prescribing vitamins is important,” said the seminar speaker Anatoliy Nikolaev.
