MTWTU offered to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to take additional measures to support seafarers as "key workers"

On the December 1, 2020, the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution designating the world’s seafarers and other maritime personnel as key workers and called all UN member countries to take measures for resolving the crew change.


In order to designate seafarers as key workers on the national level, the MTWTU prepared a project of the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine On the additional measures for state support for seafarers working onboard vessels in international trade.
