Моряки-члены ПРМТУ узнали о предстоящих нововведениях в пенсионном обеспечении граждан

По инициативе Профсоюза работников морского транспорта Украины в офисе ПРМТУ состоялась встреча моряков-членов Профсоюза с представителями главного управления Пенсионного фонда Украины в Одесской области.

Сегодня Профсоюз объединяет около 35 тысяч украинских моряков. Несмотря на то, что профессия моряка считается престижной и прибыльной, моряк все же является одной из социально незащищенных категорий граждан Украины. Так как национального флота, как такового в Украине нет, то моряки вынуждены работать на иностранных судовладельцев и, по факту, платить налоги в другой стране, где они не проживают и не могут воспользоваться социальным пакетом.

MTWTU addressed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine for further clarification

Following the announcement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine of a temporary suspension of consular actions in foreign diplomatic missions on applications of Ukrainian male citizens aged 18 to 60 years (except for actions related to issuing identity cards for returning to Ukraine), the MTWTU received numerous requests from seafarers, citizens of Ukraine, who are abroad.
