У новому звіті ITF Seafarers' Trust і Всесвітнього морського університету (WMU) підкреслюється тривала відсутність відпусток на берег для моряків у всьому світі.

Юридичним комітетом ІМО, 112-та сесія якого відбулася 24-28 березня, схвалені пропозиції ПРМТУ та Посольства України у Сполученому Королівстві Великої Британії та Північної Ірландії, спрямовані на попередження випадків залишення моряків на суднах без допомоги судновласників (абандон).
