As of March 6, 2019, Greek companies controlled 4,017 vessels of various categories, totaling 339.54 million dwt and 198.16 million gross tons. According to data provided by IHS Markit, the numbers represents a drop of 131 vessels, 2.37 million dwt and 1.12 million gross tons from a year earlier. Lovely Surprise For Seafarers’ Wives
On the eve of the International Women’s Day, the MTWTU invited the wives of seafarers, the Union members, to the festive events in honor of March 8. This year, about 50 seafarers’ wives took part in the master-class given by Master Chef 5 winner charismatic and gifted Evgeniy Klopotenko.

В период с 25 февраля по 1 марта в офисе Международной организации труда проходит Секторальный комитет по трудоустройству, поддержанию занятости моряков и расширению возможностей для женщин - моряков. В нем принимают участие представители государств, организаций судовладельцев и, конечно, профсоюзов, представляющих интересы моряков.
