Building a maritime career

Yevgeniy Bogachenko, acting offshore fleet master and founder of the KEY4MATE maritime educational project, has facilitated the seminar for the MTWTU members within the framework of his author’s course.

The main issues discussed during the seminar were:

- factors affecting your promotion,

- how to demonstrate your strengths,

- how to take hold on the new position.

Special attention was paid to the topic of personal growth. “In addition to knowing the basics of your profession, it is important to be a charismatic leader, be able to make decisions, not be afraid of responsibility, be prepared to resolve conflict situations on board,” Yevgeniy said.
