The MTWTU Chairman Michael Kirieiev and First Vice Chairman Oleg Grygoriuk have met the International Labor Organization representatives - Dr Afsar Syed Mohammad, Senior Technical Specialist, ILOAIDS, Geneva, and Mrs Larysa Savchuk, the ILO National Project Coordinator on HIV, Ukraine.
The guest were told about the MTWTU work, its projects, and the cooperation of the ILO and MTWTU.
Dr Afsar highly appreciated the MTWTU activities both on HIV issues and in the other fields.
The next days, there will be held an educational seminar of the MTWTU and ILO on strengthening HIV workplace policies and programmes for maritime sector workers and the MTWTU members in Odessa.
