Today, the first session of the newly elected ITF Executive Board took place. Michael Kirieiev, the Chairman of MTWTU, who has been previously elected to the Committee, participated in this meeting.
At the first meeting, aside of the main questions of agenda, members of the Executive Board (elected for a five-year trem, instead of four, as it was before), voted for the President and Vice-Presidents of the ITF, representing various regions of the world. According to the amendments made to the ITF Constitution by the Singapore Congress, the period between regular congresses was extended for a year and also Africa region and the Arab countries region were divided into two separate ones. Thus, the Executive Boardgot an additional Vice President position.
