Trade Union Solidarity Helps Make the World a Better Place

In April 2022, MTWTU and German trade union ver.di launched a new project. The project is aimed at helping families of seafarers and dockers from Ukraine, who were forced to relocate to Germany due to the war in our country.

As part of the project, which is financed also from the funds of the German Trade Union Confederation, there have already been sent out around 200 hygiene kits (or cards for the purchase of hygiene products) and more than 120 sets of household items and goods for children.

Families of Ukrainian seafarers and dockers who left home after February 24, 2022 and currently live in Germany are eligible to take part in the project.

Registration for hygienic, household and children's kits is still open, but please keep in mind that the amount of goods is limited, and the kits are reserved as the applications are received.

When registering, please make sure to specify a German mobile phone number.
