Основная проблема, которую испытывают многие страны, включая Австралию, Норвегию и Канаду - это одинаковое политическое давление со стороны своих правительств. Это выражается в принятии новых законов, политик, пактов, направленных на сокращение количества судов под национальным флагом, сокращение рабочих мест для местных моряков путем замены их на более «дешёвые» национальности из стран-поставщиков рабочей силы. Проводимые профсоюзами переговоры, забастовки, страйки и даже суды не привели к каким-либо ощутимым позитивным изменениям.

Solidarity Beyond Borders: European Trade Unions Support Ukraine

It took place on April 22-23 in Lublin (Poland) and brought together about 120 representatives of various European trade unions.
