Extending the Validity of Seafarers' Qualification Documents

The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine has extended the validity of seafarers' qualification documents until 31 December 2023.

A Circular of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) has already been published on the website.

The extension of qualification and other documents applies to Ukrainian seafarers:

- who are currently on board, in particular those whose documents have expired since March 2020 or will expire in the near future;

- who are currently ashore.
