MTWTU participates in the Dockers' Conference

The Dockers Conference has been held in the framework of 44th ITF Congress.

The main work priorities of the ITF affiliates for the nearest future will be signing the collective agreements at the major port terminals and key transport hubs, as well as constant raising of industry standards. Also the issue of significat attention of the Conference was an automation in ports with the upcoming reduction of port workers all over the world. If the vessels with intellectual mind are still a matter of future, then automation in ports is already affects the dockers' rights all over the world.

Ukrainian port workers have been represented by delegates from the Maritime Transport Workers' Trade Union of Ukraine.

Solidarity Beyond Borders: European Trade Unions Support Ukraine

It took place on April 22-23 in Lublin (Poland) and brought together about 120 representatives of various European trade unions.
