Meeting with the OSCE

The MTWTU Chairman held the working meeting with Mr. Theodoros Moutsokos, Monitoring Officer from the Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).

The OSCE became interested of the MTWTU Maritime Information Center, established jointly with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and came to personally get acquainted with the Center’s activities.


During the meeting, the Organization’s representatives received information of the MTWTU scope of activities and objectives.


As a result of the above, both parties expressed their full readiness for cooperation.

MTWTU addressed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine for further clarification

Following the announcement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine of a temporary suspension of consular actions in foreign diplomatic missions on applications of Ukrainian male citizens aged 18 to 60 years (except for actions related to issuing identity cards for returning to Ukraine), the MTWTU received numerous requests from seafarers, citizens of Ukraine, who are abroad.
